ZJ Elektra

It all began when she started working on the radio in Kingston, Jamaica. She was named Elektra due to her effervescent and lightning bolt personality and has continued to display this throughout her years while progressing as a female zip jock.

She has pleased many audiences at stage shows, parties, and night clubs all over Jamaica and also in the United States, and in the Caribbean with her electric and dynamic performances. She has done mixtapes, appeared in music videos, as well as hosted events.

She is a member of Shadyville Caribbean and the only female member currently on the team. Shadyville Caribbean, an extension of DJ Whoo Kid’s International Shadyville DJs fraternity, boasts some of the Caribbean’s most elite DJs. The fraternity was formed with the intentions of applying the Shadyville model to the Caribbean to promote the integration of music in the region with music in mainstream markets.
